Proposed Highland Lake Ordinance's for Public Review
During the March 4, 2025 Town Council Meeting, the following six (6) proposed Highland Lake Ordinances were introduced for review. These six (6) proposed Highland Lake Ordinances are largely updates to existing ordinances. The following proposed Highland Lake Ordinances will be up for public review and comments until the April 1, 2025 Town Council Meeting, where these ordinances will be considered and put to a vote. Building Permits
Written plans for the construction, repair, or renovation of piers, docks, boathouses, seawalls, or any construction within the 900 foot contour line should be submitted to Town Hall for approval by the Town Council prior to the issuance of a Building Permit and the onset of construction.
All new construction, additions, and remodeling plans for houses should be submitted to Town Hall for approval by our Building Inspector before the beginning of any project.
