Proposed Ordinances for Public Review and Comment
The following three Ordinances were introduced at the January 6, 2026 Town Council Meeting for review. These three Ordinances will be presented to the Town Council at the February 3, 2026 Town Council Meeting for voting consideration. The Ordinances are open for public review. Building Permits
Written plans for the construction, repair, or renovation of piers, docks, boathouses, seawalls, or any construction within the 900 foot contour line should be submitted to Town Hall for approval by the Town Council prior to the issuance of a Building Permit and the onset of construction.
All new construction, additions, and remodeling plans for houses should be submitted to Town Hall for approval by our Building Inspector before the beginning of any project.
